No, I don't have BC2, I played it a bit at a friend's house. Wasn't my thing.

I have it but I cant play it atm.
I dont miss it that much, sure I had a few great games but the players are asshole kids.
The game also has flaws that you dont notice first like the bad netcode.

The ranking up system is really fucked up and makes players camp with their sniper rifle, the other team then "baserapes" them which is the funniest thing in the game if youre on the right team.


I think I played 48 hours total since may 2010.

You should play more.
First of all there are servers that dont allow snipers or only one sniper per team..
Personally i dont think snipers are oped at all.
They never get the highest amounts of kills even on the bigger maps.

There are many game modes that have different impacts on gameplay.
I ATM play a lot of squad deathmatches and imo its very fun.
I havent noticed any "asshole kids" im not sure in what way players can be assholes there since there is hardly any opportunity to actually chat.
Durng the game your busy killing and you cant chat between games.

The asshole kids are the ones sniping and not helping with objectives.
When you have those morons on the team youre screwed.
For not helping their team they get the most points and they rank up quicker. (K/D ratio might even be a multiplier but not sure).

Best game mode is conquest
Worst is rush

In no other game have I seen people not deffusing the bomb I swear.
Its like they dont know what to do.

Also you cant hear people behind you so you get stabbed a lot.

I can hear people behind me (and I also turned up my field of view, which always felt weirdly narrow by default). What is your sound set to? Mine is on "war tapes" and I have a G35 headset with surround sound. Maybe it's something about that...

Defusing bombs is hard at times because if people die all around it, you end up trying to pick up their kits instead of defuse, since the same key does both and it seems to prefer "what you're near" rather than "what you're looking at". Then you spend five seconds running around to get a decent angle and the thing either explodes or you get killed.

In conquest around here, everyone loves to go attack points, but nobody has the patience to defend. We'll get 2 of the 3 points, and if we held them we would win, but everyone runs off to that last one and either get slaughtered attacking it (so we lose) or they're all busy there and the enemy take the others (so we lose). Typing in team chat seems to have little effect on the amount of people trying to overcome the enemy with human wave attacks.

What can be better than killing someone from across the map while taking into account bulletdrop and his movement?
Its so satisfying...

And you only have to play it long to get cool weapons to get more kills.
You need zero skill for this game.
Ranking up destroyed FPS games.

With my G3 I can own everybody and i can also use it as a medic getting extra points reviving.
