Well, seing as teh original sharp map was not based on any of teh normal map convs, i doubt it will. However Im sure it will be able to totaly match mothers map cov feature for feature and more besides!

Please tell me you can preview the map in 3d Buggi and tell me you can add features in that view (and possibley let us alter the height map in that view, and while your at it add a cookie button, and let it play the game right there in the map editor, and give me polos, and yes the requests got silli alittal while ago, but you get what i mean.)

BTW Buggi, do you wnat me do do a suped up version of my logo for you?? I bet i could make it better now you see...

Thought I'd pop in, and tell forboding to stop being so prejudical agaisnt 56k people. Most people who actuallly have the shit-for-internet have NO CHOICE. Experiancing this myself, I live in a place where the only thing available is 45k internet. What pisses me off is that I can't do one thing about it, and the fact that when I saw I have 56k, and some noob goes "LOL GO GET BROADBAND THEN!!". I'd love to, honestly. In the mean time, try to make maps available to all people, not just high-speeders. To give my prefered specs, lower is better, but dont trade to much size for to much quality. Anything under 20mb is acceptable, but it has to be really good for me to download higher.

I'm in the same situation. 48k, (except at work) too far away from the telephone exchange for DSL, and the cable wiring in my building is too crappy to get cable broadband. I'd rip it all out and replace it myself, but my landlord will (sensibly) only let a pro touch the wiring, and I don't have an electricians license.

99% of the community has broadband, with my maps I will do whatever the hell I feel like doing. Normally filesize of my maps is around 5-12 megs, however, if I feel like making a map that is 100 megs plus I will do so.

Also you should not stifle the artist because of your limitations. Expecting them to reduce the quality of maps that take days/weeks to produce is a bit demanding. Allow them to work free in their medium.

Notice how I never complained once about your map. Read through it, I gave my prefered specs map, yet never told you to change yours or even what yours was. But if the map is anything like your reading skills, its pretty shitty ass.

I'm going to have to jump in and post a disclaimer that I would never want to slow down the mappers for the dialup folks sake. I just saw a chance to whine about my connection which is like my most favorite hobby.
