That "bot" guy aka "spammy" was on while there were no moderators online.

Perhaps if the existing moderaters were to post their MSN or any other IM service addresses/infos, we could get a quick response to this sort of thing?

Noize is ALWAYS on msn, except when bot was on... :(

A mod in the +8-12 timezones would be much appreciated. Few of the European or American based mods are usually on then.

Somehow I don't think 44 minutes requires a bump, but yes it does need action

If I were to be modded I'd be willing to be on call via highlight on #TASpring on gamesurge... I'm sure there's others that could fit that bill as well... It isn't hard to idle IRC anyways.

BTW, has quakenet gone down or is it just the quakenet server I'm connecting to?

How are the mods going to be picked?
Cause more often then not it ends up in a wad of ego and abuse.

Are you saying this from experience in the TA spring client or experience somewhere else?

Betalord just picks mods. It's not a popularity contestor something. I can't say I have any complaints with the mods selected so far.

If you notice people making troubles, send the logs in. Mods can't be online 24/7, but players can be banned or restricted or something for troubles they caused while no mod was online, if people report it.

Then that guy would get a ban for sure.

but how would you know ? he can show a log with times in wich none of your friends was online and therefore you cant prove its false.

but that doesnt mean that noone else was logged in. if one person does start trouble, more than a single person would know. like with johhny last night, there were like 15 people that could back that up.

That's not a problem, server can keep logs of all traffic, but there are other ways as well.
