A completely spontaneous burst of Lego-enthusiasm had me trying to recreate one of my tanks from Conflict Terra in Lego's builder program. It would cost me $37 to order the bricks to make this... wish I had the funds.
Trying to recreate something like this in Legos was harder than I thought...

Weeee.
WIPs from another game.
And before anyone asks, no I'm not quite in a position where I can finish those BA models yet. I'll get to it as fast as I can though. (Luv u blah blah blah etc)
What is the polycount on these bad boys? You should set them up for spring! Would surely be sweet, and if not for other purposes, they would make epic promotional pictures ingame.
I am quite confident spring could handle the polycount.

lego is grotesquely overpriced! you would think that with the net quantity of lego in the world constantly increasing it would have got cheaper by now..

Mads Nipper of Lego Corporate Management wrote:Our selling costs in Europe and Asia are higher than in the US because of the size of US market and retailers (economies of scale). Furthermore, the US market is by far the most price competitive in the world. These factors combined mean that we have for years priced our products higher in eg Europe than the US. In recent years, the difference has been increased due to the weakening US dollar – but we have consciously decided not to let this (hopefully short term) weakening of the dollar hurt the US consumer. And in order to stay profitable as a company, we cannot decrease our European prices – especially seen in the light of increasing cost pressure on oil, labor etc. Finally, final pricing in the market place is obviously determined by retailers, which is something we cannot and will not influence.

false.. the true amount of free usable legobricks, not tied to any special purpose is actually decreasing. They dont want that creativity, because you cant charge for that. What they can charge for is crappy oneway plasticpieces, that can be used only for one Pursepose : getting childs to build a oneway spaceship...
orange chainsaw.. how i hated these.. for what are they usefool? Even Lego zombie scenes look shitty with those..

dont get me wrong the basic pieces are awesome. But i fucking hated stuff like those medieval tower pieces, that can only be used for medieval towers.. and maybee a spacerocket..
i know: Evil Picasso bashing my childhood! But honestly when were you really happy? Building the fucking thing in the instruction manual to catch dust, or building your very own castle, with a catapult and then start to fire legorocks and people with the catapult you built on your brothers fortress?
I even had a freaking secret entrance behind the wall.. and a torture chamber...
InB4 I blame his upbringing!

I used to make cars that move out of Lego Technics in my school lab when I was a kid! They were awesome!
