nah srsly, if you feel like cleaning up unitdefs,movedefs,... etc, why not look at other games?
ie conflict terra and micron wars files are probally just as fucked up.

question is, why there is no recent ba versions ? also it contains stuff like armor classes.

So on a water map where torps are more frequent, krogs can be considered weaker because they suck at sea due to torpedo likelihood. Balance is funny like that in this game.

its not funny at all. krog got tons of hp. only torps can hit him, which got shitty damage compared to other ground def, which is fully understandable (+ no dgun)

Another example is that some weapons have better aiming/range from ontop of hills.

lasers got spherical (spelling?) range what means they dont get extra range. plasma get extra range since they are higher and gravity gives extra range. nothing bad with it.

What about turrets that are slow to react

t1 turrets got insta turning speed, pop-outs are exception, ofc. what about them ?

balance of ba is a bunch of arbitrary adjustments over the years.
