Why does it bug you to tack on a clantag for PlanetWars?

Pxtl you are required to have a clan tag in your screen name to play any games on the Planet wars servers.

This was a suggestion in the official zerok forums to help identify clans and clan stacks in PW games.

I like this feature.

Am I the only person who'se having trouble looking at the maps and immediatly seeing what they're meant to convey?

For example, knowing Imperium won, I should be able to easily see Imperium planets and the other factions. These graphs require explanation and are thus inherently unusable.

The galaxy map is a screenshot of the galaxy provided by an Imperium player, so blue planets are Imperium.

The "diplomacy map" is actually a screenshot of the diagram in the diplomacy page. It only shows relationships between clans. The position of clan logos is meaningless.

yea that is better.
i think it would look more dynamic if you also showed battles that did not result in ownership of a planet changing. just have the planet flash for a second so that failed attacks are visible.

I hope it's only a temporary solution until embedded clan-icon-in-chat and lobby is supported by Zero-K Lobby. It strikes me as an ugly solution considering how ZK shares a server and login-system with other games.
