It's not undefendable, nothing stops people from building aa next to map edge when they know of this.

Suit yourself Gigamez, i have not problem with that, and i don't have to baw baw at the forums like you do, smart guy...

Regarding the exploit: fix it and be good - it's not become a huge problem so far like the fps bug once, so no reason to become overly aggressive about it. Fix it and be good, no big deal. Should i notice however that it's becoming more and more used then actions sure may be required.

But i gotta admit, watching that epic rage from gigamez and papelle ... you know, it was totally worth it.

His article on when a community should ban game actions is more relevant but I cannot find it anymore.

The gist of it was that communities around games can choose to ban something if it saves the game from being broken. But the ban has to be clear cut. This out of map trick is not clear cut as it can be partially achieved in normal dogfights. It is also not gamebreaking (for BA that is. The engine bug should be fixed).

This topic sort of needed to be split in two. One topic discussing the engine bug and another for BA players to rant in.

Ok guys, wonderful, so how can I know if a random host allows this shit so I can happily build my AA at the map edges?

PS.
This post is supposed to go to the rant-thread when splitted.

You build aircraft and send them to the enemy via the 'secret hidden sauce route'

If you get permabanned, then you have your answer. If you pull it off, repeat and rinse until you definately know the person with the banhammer noticed and did nothing

so, why you not only haven't kicked the player from the battle, but even you have support him? cause we're italians?

haha, you have confused our "epic" rage with our "epic LOL" to watch your raged bans against us after our combomb! :D
We only wanted have fun more with your funny rage, that's it! :D

But most important: you clearly admit with your words that you have done that "support" only to search fun for our possible reaction: these are the things that i consider "discrimination" (and "ridicolous", as i said to you) :)
Lampe.. an advice: get a life  , and pleeease, stop to try to mocking me another time :P I'm not a stupid, and in my opinion you become too much ridicolous with this policy in front of the clear replay that i've posted :)

as i said, greetings from Italy :-)
