Three pages to respond to a simple statement - the Guardian should be renamed.

Somebody rename it, or not, and close this thread.

The CORE has an immobile turret called the Firestorm, built by (all??) T2 constructors.
You sure you're not thinking of the Immolator? But that was L1. Iirc, that's the only real unit that was totally gutted out of AA/BA. Would be nice to see it back, considering that Arm has more selection for L1 kbots.

Look up I mentioned the immolater.

Ya know, if you're going to be a rabid TA fan (I fall into this category), at least have the decency to know what units were in TA, CC, BT (now, fuck me if I'm wrong, but unless I'm horribly mistaken, BT only had maps and missions, not units -- I had it, but didn't really do anything with the bt stuff tbh) and for download by cavedog.

The lack of knowledge of original Cavedog units in Spring displeases me.

*stern face*

Uninstall TAUCP or TAUIP or whatever the hell it's called, and find out.

Battle Tactics for OTA actually came with four units:

Arm Stunner / Core Neutron (EMP Missile)
Arm Phalanx / Core Copperhead (Mobile Flak Vehicles)

Battle Tactics was mostly mission-based (100 new missions), with weird missions emphasizing unusual gameplay. Like, "the enemy has porced up on this steep cliff, so you should use spiders to attack them" sort of thing.

Core Contingency had 12 new missions for each side, and a mission called "Krogoth Encounter", which is basically as it sounds. 75 new units were added; mostly seaplanes, amphibious units, and "Naval-Series" floating defenses. Oh yeah, and Vulcan/Buzzsaw.

/played a TON of TA back in the day
//The original was much more porcy than our current BA
///Couldn't Dgun a Krog back in the day

what is being played now in the OTA multiplayer lobby is much porcier than BA...
in fact BA is not porcy at all which is why people only enjoy it when they over crowed a map.

BT may have included those, but they were available via the website before BT came out.
