It's the version the host is using that matters.
To prevent the bug the host version matters.
For using the bug the client and host version matter (both have to be 0.79.1.0).

That is the general version. Not the exact one.
There are 3 version of 0.79.1: 0.79.1.0, 0.79.1.1, 0.79.1.2.
Your bug needs a host with 0.79.1.0. Just upgrade and the exploit will be impossible.

It puts the sync version there. Full version goes to infolog.

More like Spring 0.80.2.0 (0.80.2-0-ged79d6b{@}-cmake-mingw32), but you have a point.

Ugh, what a nasty ass bug (TradeMark), was it fixed in 0.79.1.2?
EDIT: Nvm, didn't realized 0.8X got pushed out.

Not to derail the thread because this is a serious issue that needs to be addressed, but Caydr, you can disable any and all Lua widgets you like, including every widget except the ones you want on any one list.
But if you disable metalmaker AI etc, dont expect to get too many players.

Not to derail the derail, but he has an entire thread devoted to the widgets included in AA since he's blocking external.
And I'll reiterate that "hacking around" the security measures discussed is nonsense.

No PYB should be breaching the spring player agreement. If they breach the agreement, then they are not a PYB and should be ban for destructive intent.
If an Individual breaches the player agreement, admins, please do your job; rid us of destructive members.
