Very cool. It reminds a little bit of the swarmer race from homeworld 1 (Gardens of Kadesh).
I'd love to see a bunch of these dotted on a landscape, when an enemy fighter flies overhead, and they all suddenly scramble to intercept. That'd look pretty funky I reckon :)

Daan, that is the weirdest freaking model I've ever seen. Looks like those snappy triangular building toys I used to have as a kid.
edit: Pressureline, I love your new aircraft. For Arm/Nova, I presume? It's wonderful to see some curves on your models now - the old ones look nice, but they're far more fitting to the Logos faction rather than the Nova one.
Just to pee in everybody's cheerios for one sec:
is anybody bothering to make wrecks?

Yes AF I am well acquainted with the windows operating system. Theres already about 15 folders on my webspace. Should I really have to make a new one just so that people don't get all uppity? I am not modeling specifically for CA. I am however keeping it *in mind* when I model, because thats the only current project that is realistically going to use them.

The Upper solar looks crazy but heavy to animate ? :O
Btw, some news , without Team Colour , Reflect or Lightmap :)


The Solar/Windmill/Mex are OTA reskinned models. the little Fusion is done by me and still unhappy with it :/

Why redo the Windgen? Cremuss did finish that quite a while ago...
You also might want to get his models as quite a lot of things like the metal extractor are finished in terms of modelling and often even UV-mapping and just sit there waiting for a texture...

Because they all look way different and i dont want to create a second CA where all units are 100% different not only in style

And smoth, i use a small texture pack that i found it is free for use. And edited the textures often a bit sometimes a lot. They are nearly perfect for the style i like to add into my mod.
And you said the right thing, speed texturing. I want to finish the mod as fast as possible to start a 100% selfmade project. And maybe sell it for low prices some day. No idea if this will based on spring engine or another. Because the Texturememory in spring sucks atm. for creating much nice effects.
And Hoi, nope i wont remodel them :) only the units that are not allowed to use in my mod will get a new model.
I will show some ingame shoots soon, with the great grounddecal i made for them.

LL's plan is to make a mod with a unit-set that dwarfs BA and CA. Obviously it will involve a horrifficly long list of units, thus a large proportion of them will be TA units. He's only making models because the various old TA modelers complained about being included without credit. Re-makes like Cremuss will stick out among those old units.
Really, though, this does make one wonder why he's bothering with the solars and windgens at all isntead of focussing on more units.
I mean, if he wants to re-do it for his own game he's got to start from scratch, not just re-tex.
