I wanna see an update now... seems like brawlers get stuck in the air repair pad in the current 7.04 version... I guess it has something to do with the new engine?

Updated.

Testing some new AI behaviour in this release.

Fixed skirmishing on Spikers and added a little trick to Weavers to make them run away a little when damaged.

Also approx 1 in 15 chickens will now have a straight attack order instead of fight so should try to run thru defenses rather than attacking the nearest target always.

Updated!

- Improved Queen behaviour.
- Queen now spawns a few 'Queen Hatchlings' each wave.
- Few more chicken AI tweaks.

Hey guys!

This is an awesome mutator!

But I got one little question about it:

How does the "Burrow Placement" option work?
I tried to set up some games on maps like "Supreme Battlefield" and "NarrowValley" - putting me and my LAN-gamers on the left side and the chicken-bot on the right side.
"Always startbox" says the chicken would spawn only at the chicken-bot's start-position, is that correct?
But the chickens always spawned right in the middle of our bases too...

So.. how to avoid spawning in "my" part of the map?

The most likely reason for that happening is if the chicken start box is for team 2 and the chicken bot is on team 3+, this can happen quite easily if you add the bot while people are joining ;)

Is it possible to make 2 Queens spawn ? I can kill a very hard queen in about 1 minute. :twisted:

One thing I'm searching for is how to change the custom queen settings to make it harder.

Try playing with less grace or simply disable all towers... that usualy creates a nice challenge ;)

Tried another chickengame today and noticed this doesn't work.
Chickens keep spawning all over the map (tried Supreme Battlefield).

But I noticed an entry in the log saying something like "no startbox available, setting aviod players as default."

So, the Chicken's startbox is some map-related issue?
Is there a possibility to change this default-behaviour to "always startbox" or - because there is no startbox available - something like "near Startpoint"?

Hmm, I've never had any problems with chickens now spawning is the start boxes... did you assign startboxes to the players/chickens?

I'm not sure how it works in SpringLobby, but in TASClient you can save the mod defaults... so if you change it to "Always startbox" and save it as default, it should work just fine the next time you play...
