What happened to smurfs? When I type it I get this error
[12:18:09 AM] <FiendServer> Sorry, you do not have rights to execute smurfs
Why is it banned if clearly it says on the forum

Hmm, doesn't it appear that people actually want to keep smurfs?

Exactly why is it admins only now and not the regular players? I've looked in the forum all I see is maybe we will change how smurfs operates.

Well, my position on it is well-known, so I need not elaborate. However, I would like to say that since the community wants it to remain, then it should remain, despite the dissenting voices.
I agree with him, and offer my 2 cents if we have smurfs you could show ranks on the list so we know how experienced that the other players actually are.

Off Topic: If we have this rank system a listed win / loss tracker for players would be nice to have, because in my case, I rarely win. For me I actually have a relatively high rank compared to my actual abilities in the game.

Of course, my position is against smurfs, but there we go.

The autohost isn't letting you see it for some reason, but the option hasn't been disabled. I checked my own account not long ago.

It's up to each autohost owner to setup access for each command. I have no control over it.

All of the springie bots seem to be down, there are no bots in the lobby that respond to !smurfs.

(apart from that one)

I'm pretty sure the server doesn't send each client every IP anymore, rendering !smurfs impossible without giving each springie server mod status (yeah, rite)

P397687H, read before you write ;-)

Springies aren't so dumb, this "problem" was solved even before current lobby version was released..

Besides, there are plans to integrate this feature directly into lobby/channel server..

Sorry if that was a problem - that was me - just tying to cut down on the amount of spam that was filling up my server with all the people typing in the smurf command. It didn't work - as it filled the thing up all the same - with the above message. So I'll be re-enableing it.

LocalFiend - what you need is to disable this command for "channels" - you can set it up in command settings..

I'm a privacy nut, so I don't like the whole !smurf thing. The fewer people tracking my IP, the happier I am. :) If somebody wants to smurf, I'm fine with that.
