You can't copyright COLOR CODE. YOU WILL NOT try to copyright SMD.

These are the lines he is bitching about

SkyColor=1 0.76 0.34;
SunColor=1 0.85 0.75;

Those values range from .0 to 1 on all three counts!

It's not yours to give.

It is not "your work". It is simply a setting.

BTW, in case you havn't noticed, photo's are a lit more than color codes. Photo's are also in RGB values.

Assuming 2 decimal places thats 1 million combinations per line, even copying 2 lines thats 1 billion possible combinations. Just because something is two lines doesn't mean it's any less work. You should be taking screenshots of the sky and telling me THATS what he copyed, because THATS what matters.

BUT, the point isn't that he copied it, hunter already said he could use it, the point is:

"Hey can I use your skybox for this map I'm making?"

"Yes"

Isn't as hard as you are making it out to be. Picasso, I'm not directing any of this towards you, just FYI, you and hunters stuff is between yall.

smd is not a skybox... It's nowhere even close...

Skyboxes are generally in dds format. A small google search would have netted you that little gem.

Yea, and paintings are simply oil and dye thrown on a canvas, whats your point? Why are you trying to make it sound so simple, hunter literally worked hours to set those values, its about the sky they produce.

Hunter, chill you are new around here but mappers use each others sky all the time. It is the norm here. If you wanted the sky to be yours, you needed to specify. I am sorry you are upset but please understand that copying each other's sky is the norm around here.

I'm don't make maps at all anyway so your attempt at a joke is lost on me, I'm just saying obviously some people spend more time on details than others, those that don't don't give a shit about copying other peoples' stuff cause it's easier for them, those people that do spend time on every detail to make the best map possible obviously care a little more.
