Oh my lord. I've never met anybody who ever heard of them before aside from myself. I literally have gotten blank stares from salespeople at music stores across the globe. They aren't brilliant, but they have some great pieces. Now I've met two people...
Genre wise? I'm up for anything, but most of my exposure falls into soft rock, classic rock, hard rock, acid rock, progressive rock, psychedelic rock, classical, musical...
Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rhapsody, Natalie Merchant, Joan Armatrading... those are highlights of my collection.

There's a huge difference.

Meh, I never worked out what all the different styles were, whats the difference?

GOA-trance is generally faster and makes use of different instruments... just listen to the DI.FM trance stream and DI.FM GOA/PSY stream for comparision. You should try to get some stuff from Sun Project, they're pretty decent.

my iTunes library's first listed artist is 10 Years, my last is ZZ Top. My musical tastes range between those two. While i don't hate rap i don't have much on my comp, one Cut Chemist song, a few from Flipsyde, and some others. Most of my music ranges from Classical rock to more current stuff. Not really a Death Metal fan but if its on i'll listen, though iPod + iTrip = unused radio
Oh and pintle and steve one of my old college roomies has played guitar all his life and is digustingly good at Free Bird. Infact he is in a legit Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute band that did a professional CD a while back (hmm.. that reminds me i never did get my copy

).

This should go into MTR...
I like music that's complex. Really complex. The more melodies and harmonies going at once, the better.
The problem is that I can't find any music anywhere near as complex as I'd like it, because complexity increases the difficulty of composition. The best I've heard so far is at the end of the Lawrence of Arabia overture, where they play all the themes at once and it still fits together.
And I havent heard anything else as good as that. A lot of classical music is pretty complex, and Juno Reactor, and the music from Jazz Jackrabbit. And that's pretty much what I listen to
But I really havent heard much music. Pretty much only what my parents listen to, which is pop music from the past 30 years and some classical.
So if anyone has suggestions, I'd be happy to look into them. But I'm kinda picky. I don't usually like vocals in a language I can understand, and definitely no screaming/shouting into microphones. Preferably not too much swearing either, or sexual references, so that I can listen to it when my parents/sisters are around.

Listen to Infected Mushrooms, some of their stuff is pretty complex and layered and whatever, its good. Some of it is just random trance stuff, not that great, but some of their stuff is great.

Gustav Holst' The Planets, especially "Mars, the bringer of war" or "Jupiter, the bringer of jollity". A a lot of tunes of his had been used in various film scores (Indiana Jones, Star Wars, etc.) and I like quite it a bit.
...also Slipknot or ODB make melodic and complex music (and they don't even swear as much as Eminem does).
Hm do your parents really care about that? Like don't you have a door to close or headphones?

No, they don't really care what I listen to with headphones. But they would be against me listening to it with the surround sound in the living room or the car. And I don't like lyrics in english anyway.
I'll try infected mushroom...
