Get an X1950 XTX if you have the money. They defeat all nvidia cards by about 20 FPS (Yes even the GX2, Which is in fact 2 7900GTX's stuck together). And its cheaper than the Nvivida counterpart (The GX2).

And, becuase of this, ATi is releasing an Ultra-cheap (150£) version of the X1900XT with 256 vid memory.

Buy what you can afford.

You can't always get the top of the line, and if you do, I say the extra $$$ could have been better spent on a future upgrade or system a few years from now.

And all this "this sux" or "that one is way better" really depends on what you will be using your GFX card for. If you're a power user, avid gamer, and have lots of money, then you may opt to go for top of the line hardware. But if you're like the rest of us, go for what will suit your needs for the next 2-3 years to come. After that, you can look into getting a upgrade or building a new system.

Personally if you're not going to be playing all the new games, the X1300 will do you fine for a while. If you plan on playing all those new games and still get a reasonable amount of gfx clarity out of them, then expect to pay about $200 to $500 dollars for a mid-high end card to a high-end card. And that price for a X1300 is fairly reasonable.

P.S. I could go on for another few pages about the various ATI and nVidia cards, not to mention the PhysX card, processors, memory, cases, etc.

X1950's are recently released right? Your not gonna be able to get a very good deal on them for a while, like me and Caydr said before, wait.
Also, Caydr reccomended Ebay Stores earlier, Ive been browsing around there...best prices ive seen for brand new items. Of course you have to wait first for the indie sellers to but the stuff and put it up there.
