Not going to be either. You can put it on ta-spring.com or http://www.unknown-files.net/browse.php?cat=4

Theres a way to upload to ta-spring.com !?!? I hope there is so I can upload my newer maps. They seem to be missing all of the community's new maps from the past two months atleast.

Unknown-Files is working fine for me. Just select the file to upload, the next step should let you select where to place the file.

well, now that people can actually get the map and its been played a bit, what are you guy's thoughts of the gameplay vs balences of the map?

Is there anything I can do to adjust the balences of the map, add in a geo somewhere, cut metal content down, adjust wind strength those kind of things?

I'd really like to put out an update if you guys think its worth doing, mostly to fix the map version.

I forgot to change the archived map name before getting it on Fileuniverse, mostly because it took 4 tries to get it sent and working there.

So let me know what I can do, and I'll get busy on it.

I've played the map quite a bit as a 3v3 and have loved it. Can't think of anything of the top of my head to make it better. I love how the action is intense right from the get-go and it is also hard to porc (and if you do, you lose anyway). No idea how it plays as a 4-way ffa. I vote keep the map as-is.

Mr.D: this is a really pretty map. I hate to say this, though, but it feels even smaller than it actually is, and I think that with the design, it would be better bigger, to give players a little longer to get going.

I'd really like to see a larger version, with the players starting on the plateaus in the corners- sort've the same approach I took with the heightmap for NanoArena, where I wanted players to have a defensible space to start from. Just a thought.

Er, well... sort've... not... ok, Hrmph compiled it and edited the heightmap, because I'm too lazy to do it myself ;)

Sorry! <runs and hides>

I got around to updating the map, its now up to Version 5.

I did this to reduce the confusion of the filename mixup when I first uploaded the map to UnknownFiles.com

Metal per patch has been reduced slightly so there is more of a need to expand.

I also tweaked the heightmap to remove some of the bumpyness in the map and also to help with a couple problem areas where upgrading LVL-1 mex's with Moho-Mex's was impossible, and I cleaned up the texture slightly.

Vehicles can now get up each hill except the very tallest border hills on the edges.

I updated the 1st link in this topic with downloads for both Version-1, and Version-5.

Here is the link to Unknown files to get the new Version 5.
