Installing official MinGW is the hell, they don't seem to pay much attention to their installer/package downloads anymore since there is TDM. I just did it a minute ago and it's super easy? Although there isn't very fine control over which packages are installed if using the GUI installer, but for Spring all you have to do is make sure to tick c++ compiler.

jk updated the wiki with instructions to use tdm build, seen as that no longer requires grabbing the collect2 from here, it's probably best to just leave it at that?
