I dont think emailing Atari or whoever would solve anything, since most likely it wouldnt be read by anyone who would be in a position to answer anything but "no" to it.
What I think would be great to have though, somewhat related, is a website for the TA Spring mods. This site is site for the engine, its awkward to have that stuff here, and right now its pretty crappily displayed here - pages like this dont really make you want to try this game, or recommend it to someone. If the TA stuff was on its own, rest of Spring wouldnt have to worry about it. You could have easy installer including TA mods, in a place a newbie would actually find it.
Just that someone would have to do it...
