Did anyone notcie that Kabal's voice is pretty much exactly the same as QAI from SupCom? The same voice actor with just a slightly different sound fx applied?

Generals is included in the 10 year anthology. Which includes all the C+C games except cnc3 and ra2. So it's still available through the regular places.
Of course, now that they've released all the older games for free, the pack has a lot less value...

Before I DL this, is there a way to get any resolution by changing the config file like in older c&c titles?
Sometimes I really like 2D rts games, they were clean and looked good.
It took years until 3D rts looked about as good as the old 2D ones.
I think its cool that they release these old games, these are childhood memories

c&c and red alert

This is one of the things why EA has risen highly in my eyes from the sadistic to the core publisher to only somewhat evil one now. Not many big publishers let you make your own games using their engine and then release alot games from a very popular franchise to the market for free (even this is a marketing trick it is still nice).

I wish they would release the source code for C&C Generals. there are so many great mods for that game which suffer from the numerous bugs in the engine.
