The GUI is in Chili; you'd either need to adapt Chili for your game or convince car to make a whole new gui.

Or rip the core and add your own GUI?

Chili seems very much amateur atm(read: infancy), and if I were running iceui that would be neato. Would it be particularly difficult to adapt it to redui as well?

Technically, redui would have to adapt to it, rather than the reverse.

Any possibility of a blue / orange mode that would work with the 3D glasses from last year's Chuck episode? Here's the RGB offsets
http://www.tgdaily.com/content/view/41290/98/ and I think they have a pair of glasses in the DVD / Blu-Ray set which is absolutely worth a purchase.

I can easily make it, but only if you tell me that you actually own the glasses. I won't make it if no one has it.

I'd have to look for my pair to confirm I still have them and as it turns out the DVD / Blu-Ray set won't be out till February so never mind for now I guess.

Added it, since someone else mentioned he had the glasses.
Also added chromadepth.

Chromadepth mode was heartlessly slashed out by the evil jK.
Added blue/yellow mode. I bought
these "brown/blue" glasses and tried it out with bad results. The yellow lens filters properly but the blue lens receives crosstalk. I'll mess around with the values but this pair is probably just crappy. Hopefully the Superbowl/Chuck pair have better results, let me know.

I know you're kidding, but you could actually do something like that for ~$5000 thanks to ATI's Eyefinity and cheap 22" 1080P displays:

(Eyefinity:

Someone did this years ago already, there was a post with a video on the mailing ist.
(I think he/they used something like 4x4 array of displays)

Thanks for rezzing my thread. Now I can take the opportunity to brag and tell you guys I play Spring in 3D using my inexpensive 22" Zalman Trimon monitor and lightweight passive glasses (no stupid batteries needed). The resolution is reduced, but 3D is 3D and it's available right now for a mere $100 premium over the standard cost of monitors in this size. I am looking forward to better solutions in the mainstream but those will take years.
