Isn't that basically Speedmetal or any other unlimited-resource game?

Alternately, there's the "combiner" games where you mash parts together, but ultimately in a multiplayer game there is an optimal choice. A bigger set of choices just means more Bad Ideas you have to discard before you get to the one Good Idea.

CA + newton grav turrets + terraform = trying to build a peewee cannon = win
(needs 2 players for maximum lol)

You know, a Newton and terrain-deformation themed puzzle game for Spring would be farking epic. Like "you have a dirt-ball launcher and some projectile deflectors - we need you to build a mountain that your crab-crawlers can climb so they can destroy this object that is floating high in the air, and you don't have anything like a clear shot at the ground underneath the floating object. Good luck with those bank-shots".

someone already made a "launch the krogoth" mission.
make missions work again :?
if this tilebased mapeditor ever gets published it would making these kind of custommaps much easier.

My "mission" Chicken Tag still works. The editor no longer works but the mission itself still plays as far as I know, I can start it up.

I don't know. Maybe your mission has a certain win condition that is broken in a recent version of spring while mine doesn't.
