Sounds like a really cool creature. Where can I get some of these?
One of those new self-replicating forms. The copy mechanism is a bit off, but approximate replication is still possible.

You can walk up a 60 degree slope, as long as you can get some grip. Seriously, do some research on this. Imma go have to get out a protractor and find myself a 60 degree slope and take some pictures...

Thats weird, nemo said the current values were arbitrary and that it would be no problem, at least for slopes.

Read what I say...

I said they would not be doing so on ninety degree slopes. I myself have climbed a few dozen feet ~100 degree cliff/overhangs without equipment.

We can't in good faith compromise certain realistic aspects simply because robots in a fictional universe can climb sixty degree slopes and handle artificially steep beaches.
Sixty, your number.

We're not talking about ninety degree slopes here, its a distraction to focus on the rock climbing thing. Bots dont do that.

You're the one who brought up ninety, I was merely following your point. They won't be taking sixty degree slopes under fire wearing military packs without equipment either.

Unless you're going to say something I don't already know or we haven't as a team discussed, please stop, at this point you're merely wasting my time. I only entered the thread to say that we won't be moving to BA tolerances, they do not accurately model human infantry movement, particularly in the conditions of warfare - I did not come here for you to tell me things I know.

climbing with a whole bunch of guns and shit is harder than free climbing
