In either case I'm not going to spend even a second time on it, no matter how easy it is, you can poke someone else with access.
What's that I smell? Oh, it's just satirik, go figure.Satirik wrote: yeah but website using the whole space are made for 1024 or 1280 width resolution at least
Many people prefer not to have to resize browser windows all the time.Do you know what I do when I find the text on a site too wide to read? I resize the window. Fixed width is retarded, let people choose what width they read at
talking to you is just a waste of time and since i don't need to argue to keep the current fixed width im okay, i can laugh at you barkingForboding Angel wrote:What's that I smell? Thanks sinbad
I did. I'm still going to say it's a bad way of doing stuff, if it is user selectable or not is irrelevant to that statement :/Forboding Angel wrote:@zellsf: That's why it would be user selectable. Try reading the thread next time.

I've been playing with phpBB3 themes and styles lately. With ProGrey as a base, changing the background, colors and other stuff you'd get a wonderful theme for this forum!
Today I got the user information on the left side of the screen again and I am working on other fun things!
At this rate, expect me to come back with an style in a couple months.
Peace and love!
Cool dude! Haven't seen you post very often, but any style improvement is welcome!Roflcopter wrote:Hello!

Then set it to a sane width once and be done with it.ZellSF wrote:Many people prefer not to have to resize browser windows all the time.
You know that web sites are different, right? A simple text only forum benefits from less width than for example, an image gallery. There isn't a single sane width that can look great on all web sites.El Capitano wrote:Then set it to a sane width once and be done with it.ZellSF wrote:Many people prefer not to have to resize browser windows all the time.
And there isn't a single site width that looks right on all font settings in all browsers. If I'm browsing this site in my living room, I get a very narrow frame with only a few words per line. So really, you should leave it up to the user, who can choose to change his browser window. After all, maximise wasn't developed for an era of differnet aspect ratios.ZellSF wrote:You know that web sites are different, right?
