It is a common standard in TA that there really is no such thing as a "cheap" tactic. If you get beaten, its because you weren't good enough to counter the tactic. Commanders are powerful, but not invulnerable.

Granted, in a game as new and fledgling as this, there is the chance for unbalanced tactics. However, given that Spring is more or less very straight from TA, which has dealt with such issues, and given the hard evidence from that game, I would say that if you have been defeated, then fair and simple, you lost. The best part of the game is the fact that there are always ways to come back from defeat.

And generally, if he managed to get two nukes up, he couldn't have been losing that bad. Nukes are a product of stalemate, not defeat.

And generally speaking I do agree with min3mat for once that a win is a win is a win, and no matter how the goal was obtained, the goal is what's important. I've got an idea. How about we not use the forums as places to deal with grudges online? That goes for both of you. If you dislike each other, keep it in the game, and kick each other's asses. I don't want to hear about it, and neither does anyone else.

If someone is cheating, that is another matter, but I've only heard of one instance of that happening (guy turned game speed to 66 after losing), and it lead to the game being better, because max and minspeeds were implemented. If you are doing it with units and commands, it's not cheating. It could be cheap, but it's not cheating.

um this is general discussion we can discuss whatever the fuck we like as long as it is related in some way to the game

wtf! u really don't have a clue. have you even WATCHED the replay? its a small map. one player uses his comm to kill others base. THAT is what this is about.

No tatic/startegy is lame.

If you can kill some flashes, you can get a good head start right?

If you mange to avoid the valkery and used a K-bot to shoot it down, he wasted resuorces right?

Using the commander, in any case, is not lame. If you want your base to be commander bomber free, build spread out MT and Flack towers outside and inside it.

lol nice comic.... ok lathan yes I feel where ur coming from Ive played my grandpa alot and havent lost ever but he no lie accidentally sent his comm down into mine on gd2 in the middle of his attack so i didnt see it til to late... I had 4 gaat guns 3 punishers and like 12 defenders well anyways his comm blew all that up and yes most of his attack but his mavs were in the back and a fews samsons and hammers.... I had my attack also but Id just started building mortys... I normally have 3-4 kbot labs up by this time but... I was cocky and I wanted to try goin adv... cause I norm do later... anyways he beat me I mean he didnt own me because it took out most of his attack but... I had no defense and the fwe guys who got in got 4-5 mexxes and then I held of the rest for a while but I didnt have any cons at the time cause he killed 4... 1 makin MTs, 1 makin punishers, 2 makin gaat guns... all I ahd was one makin winds and I had to make the other ones which meant no more storms or slashers bein made and with him takin my mexxes I was runnin out of metal so when they got done I didnt have enough metal and I started reclaimin but now I had only 5-10 mortys and he had just got his mavs in my base and I could build defense cause he took my mexxes and I started makin rockos and samsons but it was to late... Yes It reminded me why I play dead comm game ends espec at a map where everything is bottle necked like that... at any of map It would be fine... cause I could close that whole up quick... and I would be big enough that he wouldnt kill but possible 1-2 cons 10-20 MTs and maybe a gaat and 20 slashers/storms
