In this demo, the game is won by raiding pressure and mistakes by the loosing side.
It's an unfair battle of 3v2 in Gods Of War (i love GOW and i like 3v2 battles. They're always fast and messy).

You can see good team play between Lathan and Ted. Ted rushes out for brawlers while Lathan goes sea and does a double task of protecting himself and his mate.
Because of that, we pressured Ted's island to good effect.
When a strong pressure starts, so does the mistakes of Lathan and Ted.
You can see that Ted, while rushing to Lvl2-Air, builds 2 lvl-1 factories. Not only that, he leaves them both not doing anything when he could have reclaimed they're precious metal.
On Lathan's side, you can see that he built Lvl2-Sea. After that, he started an Warlord (that's 7K metal) which sucked up all of his metal, not leaving him much to defend against the raiding pressure. And as if that wasn't enough, he started building another lvl-1 boat factory.
Still, the game was won by mostly lvl-1 units doing raiding pressure.

In this demo, you can see my inability to play large maps

It's me (

Felix, versus
DaveTheBrave,
Cabbs and
Shintahr.
As you can see, all of the players of the team oposing me, started out in a very defenseless way, going for a quick build up of the economy.
While the map is somewhat big, i still managed to severely cripple DaveTheBrave (who was brave enough to hang in there

) with Jeffy and Flash rushes. Some time after, i even had the oportunity to bring 4 lvl-1 gunships to Shintahr's base, right to the heart of his economy. If Cabbs wouldn't have helped him, he would have lost his only fusion plant and maybe more...
After some 30 mins of play, Shintahr finishes building up a strong economy and starts powring Zeuses and Fidos. And launches a devastating raid to my poor team mate DeadRAM and virtually annihilates him.
Only some time after, did the mass Goliath / mass Gunship attacks started. But still, i think that this demo also shows that we can rush the enemy and that raids of non-Gollies, non-Gunships work. Remember, it is a large map, suitable to build ups...
I have played a few times with DeadRAM before, that night. He is an old oTA player who said to be having troubles adjusting to the XTA economy. I say it's more than that because the other games i've played with him, were all land small maps and he always started with an aircraft factory. Of course he couldn't hold on to the pressure and ended up loosing. In this demo, you see him start by building a lvl-2 vehicle factory (That's a 1K/1K game we were playing...
). He would have never been able to pull those off even if he was playing OTA!
I suspect that some of the complains that old players give to XTA comes from the fact that people are untrained and can't play as well as they remember to have played in the past...
