I now own the book the game is based off. It's finally been translated into English after being translated into Russian, Bulgarian, Polish, German, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Czech.

And it was worth the wait.

And, you, ZellSF person, we have radically different ideas of what makes a good RPG, apparently, and I think the Witcher is right up there with, say, Planescape Torment.
