No, PD is the absense of copyright. No license means no copying, no copyright means no limits.

GNU/CC/etc are all licenses applied by the copyright holder to his work. PD is releasing the work form all claims of ownership or copyright.

Does anyone still have this on their hard drives? After Spring reinstall and FileFront incident I nolonger have it anywhere!

It would be a real shame if all that work disappeared, does anyone have it floating around?

In regards to using 7-zip to do the packing,
May I suggest using...
PakScape

I started my game modding with Jedi Academy (the game site in the link, also known as JKA)

PakScape is a nifty tool that works with zip files, as well as many other game asset packs. I use it for making/modifying Spring archive files, JKA packs (in pk3s) and bunch of other stuff.

7-zip is great as an extraction tool though, I use that for quickly unpacking stuff, but PakScape has a better GUI for adding files in, IMO.

To make a new archive, copy one using the format/extension you want to use, then delete all the files in the copy of the archive, add the new ones, and rename the new archive as needed.

It was 1:1 same as BA, except all sounds changed.
