There's no movement, the game description was probably a joke.

On the language issue:
English is the de-facto language on spring for some very good reasons: its the native language for a considerable proportion of spring users, its one of the most common secondary languages among non-native speakers due to its status as the international 'lingua-franca', and the mods mostly speak English as swift said.

No, not because i said so, because everyone speaks english, global communication, you know... should we then learn ~5000 languages to be sure we can communicate with each other, or just english? Yeah... english sounds easier.

Its because they think their language is equal or superior to english.Why would they need to learn english when you could learn french, which has wide use around the world for example in the ex colonies of france in africa ~~

it's not just the same as you people from little country where you have no choice but speak english or die alone in your mountain with bears !

compare it to spanish, german or italian people, and they don't speak more english than us (maybe german a bit more) .... and don't forget there is a lot of 14- french playing spring who can't speak english yet

If I am hosting a game I can make whatever demands I bloody well please. ESP on the grounds of communications method. IF a player not being able to communicate effectively is detrimental to my game experience then I can tell them stay out of my game.

First of all the word racism is used colloquially to refer to any sort of xenophobia, and even though it's not correct usage, the meaning is understood (in other words you should be offended only by poor language skills, not for reasons of racism). Second, he didn't even say it was racist, he said spring could slip into racism... and it has before (I've seen it more than once).

The biggest concern here is not scaring potential new players from the server, so both the haters and the hater haters should take a pill.

And believe me I'm no fan of France. But without France we wouldn't have french toast, just fried bread.

by the way:
"the term "racial discrimination" shall mean any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race, color, descent, or national or ethnic origin"-from wiki.

Wow, what the hell sparked that vitrolic outburst? The OP was perfectly resonable, complaining about a ridiculous demand from a host. It's kind of scary that you took that in bad faith and said he was getting off on separating French people from others...
