Exactly. Actually I read up to point where it says suspension and then fired up wings and tried to do a hummer/monster truck and this is what became of it.
I'm currently working on a more detailed ground section with a true suspension, not just four sticks. There were really ugly clipping errors anyway... :(
This is where wings sucks, you can't model things like this, especially after tiling the body for a better pose in a proper way. Needs bones.

It would be interesting to allow offroad vehicles. Slower than other cars on pavement, but faster off the pavement. Just make the game think they're kbots.

Oh wow, make them think they're kbots. Didnt even think of that. You could use another class for ships and hovercraft couldnt you, since thats defined by tedclass (or something? yeah?) and not by the units atributes.

For one thing the cars can be complex because their arn't that many of them. For maps and stough you could make a canyon map with weppons that throw cars around but they just bowns of the walls.

Need less people posting ideas and more people providing their own version of the mod, or at least some content. Vintage, can you post a .3dm/.lwo/.obj or whatever your prefered format is, of that car model?

I liked it, the front end could have really used some suspension though

These units will get alot of close ups, they need to have the bells and whistles.

It's sleeker and it's better(in my opinon

)

I could not think of a sospention to on the back wheels and still keep to what I had in mind so both the back things that the wheels are on just bowns up and down like a sospention.

You use MS paint to paste these pictures in? Grab the little point in the bottom right corner and drag it until the white area is not on the picture anymore.
Or, if you are using gimp, use autocrop.

It's o.k. , but if I ever got back to modeling, I'd woop this. ^_^
So, can someone refresh me on this mod, I think I played it back before the update, and it was pretty cool.
EDIT: I was bored, here have a blast.
Also, I've uploaded the .wings file if you want it, I can make a 3ds if you need it.
I don't know, but unknown-files is really messed up, I think someone hacked it, all my gmod files are gone. T_T

For the polie count you can have quite a few becose thare are only going to be 8-16 cars at the most(how many can you have in a maltieplay match?). Whats the problem whith having 10,000 polies a car if that's the polie count for ten to fifteen units in a standerd game?

Good practise. Nobody in a real game will see those tiny things on the wheels, they're completely wasted.

Yep, if you're using 10k you can make the whole thing a LOT prettier instead of just adding a few windings noone can see.
