AOE was unbalanced, but fun. Popular game. I played way more games of AOE with IRL friends than i did of OTA.

I have updated EMP Annihilation for BA 5.61.
edit: Manored, I'd recommend you unzip EA561.sdz and take a look around to learn how to turn your file into a proper mutator.

Hunnic skirm/spear rush in fuedal gg.
Any civ knight rush in castle gg.
Gothic infantry rush gg.
Halberdiers/pikemen (cheap as free) vs light cavalry gg.

Pretty much every cheap win has three to seven counters in that game, but the counters are SIDE dependent in general, which is why it ends up so unbalanced.

Flash rush in BA is cheap win needs nerf.
Ill tell you one counter that everyone except turks has. Pikemen to light cavalry, thats what.
TBH, the AoE 2 civ system is good. Rather than in TA with a bunch of almost-identical units and a few uniques, AoE has a lot of duplicates but specializes in different areas.
And, depending on the map, its really pretty well balanced (Though huns rock arabia 1v1).

it's not the worst about htat though, the worst is c&c generals
i bet that pro 1v1s involve one guy picking a general, the other guy picking the general that rapes that, the first guy then picking the general that rapes that, ad infinitum

try c&c 3 and the many unique strategies you can do with it.
strategies involved;
1) getting NOD and spamming scorpions├óÔÇ×┬ó
2) getting NOD and spamming more scorpions├óÔÇ×┬ó than your enemy
3) getting NOD and spamming scorpions├óÔÇ×┬ó and towers
4) getting NOD and spamming scorpions├óÔÇ×┬ó and occasional jeeps if enemy gets infantry and occasional bike if they get air
5) getting scrinn and getting raped by scorpions├óÔÇ×┬ó and jeeps
6) getting gdi and getting raped by scorpions├óÔÇ×┬ó

You should name it something other than "Balanced Annihilation V5.61 fixed com". It is confusing and the BA devs may take exception to you using the BA name. Maybe something like "Manored's no D-Gun mutator for BA 5.61"

Well the project dies here anyway. No one else agrees with this, so there is no point since it isnt getting played. Only thing I can do now its to prove the efficiency of combombing winning games with it or be convinced of the other side trying!

Commbombing sucks in BA. Take it from an old habitual comm bomber, I've seen commbombing lose alot more games in BA than I've seen it win.
