How about locking the wiki and starting to send editions/aditions to someone who passes it to the wiki?

SWS manual has been done by spambots; I'm not sure how to fix it?
Is there any way to lock this page to prevent anyone from editing it?

I think, if possible, the whole wiki should be reverted, taken offline, and secured. Reverted, of course, to that last good date/edit.

I lack write access to the current site, but any WikiMedia changes would have to be committed to the new site in svn to.
Fnordia is responsible for maintaining the production site (spring.clan-sy.com) so you will have to page him for it.

There are plenty to fix. Just search for them

I don't have enough time x.x
I am retexturing 4 units with 512's instead of the 256..
Infantry can keep their 256.. I'm too lazy to go back for them, and they sure as hell don't need a larger one..

I heard from another wiki that you can install a plugin to the mediawiki with blacklists against spam, think it filters out edits that contain some of the most famous spammed search terms. For them it worked very well!
This seems to be better than restricting access to the wiki.
Also I reported this to chongqed.org (at least I tried to) - hope that helps, too... There I also found even more tips on how to fight spam, see chongqed.org/prevent_spam.html and wiki.chongqed.org//AntiSpamRecommendations.

Something needs to be done; today, I fixed at least 10 mod wiki pages, we need a way to make newbs unable to edit the wiki, and/or use a code, so bots can't use it. It really is getting ridiculous, heck even my mod pages were getting hacked.

Still thoroughly rooted.
Edit: Fixed by maelstrom. Thanks!
