holy shit there is a lot of hate towards bodybuilders here. I don't know if its because this is basically a site for nerds, but hopefully people would understand I am a nerd to decided to be part time bodybuilder 3 yrs ago and now am quite big, and do enjoy some benefits from that hard work

no, they aren't looking because I'm abnormal or something, they are looking because I have huge bis, pecs, lats, tris and the rest. And they don't see it unless you take your shirt off normally.

maybe if some of you hit the gym more you wouldn't hate as much... instead you get trolled

its true some of you guys get laid without any of this effort and duh, thats why I am asking for advice. and I got some useful stuff so far.

Everyone has a bit of narcissism just depends on how far you take it. To err is human.

I feel sad for this scrot guy as he is deep in denial. I am not trying to be mean I am trying to get through to him.
lol deep denial. That's the best response ever

i should mention that i'm one of the skinniest specimens here; i do labour work but i have a fast metabolism etc

however i offset the skeletor factor by being really, really goodlooking

Image

seriously its about being comfortable in your own skin; if bodybuilding helps your confidence, then go for it; i just never personally found the need, and as far as i know being skinny never hurt any of my chances with girls

I certainly stumbled into that one, Johannes. I don't enjoy film as much as other entertainment media, so I consume less of it.

You mostly have old guys here who know the game and have given you advice. Thing about advice is that it can be ignored and the thing about being given something is that you can do what you want with it. I tried to lay some truth on you, you have every right to ignore it.

You can prance around act like an Internet tough guy, no one is really impressed or annoyed. You just come off as a stupid child talking up a man's game.

@ yan: I started because I was at an imbalance I feel a person need to balance mind, body and soul. I am working on strength for a while then I'll go back to cardio.

started out as a desire to be physically fit, and then I got addicted to the progress. Especially when you are making gains every couple of weeks, its hard to say no.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Some people brought up valid points, as far as I can tell you are saying that girls look at me because I'm grotesque, not good looking

so if that's your point, move on

edit: upon further inspection of your post on page 8, my self esteem does need work, confidence wise, which is what I've been saying all along. But my solution to that isn't to curl up in a hole.

edit: you guys know there is a yahoo bot on your page?

I didn' say grotesque, don't project so damn much. I had a personal trainer who would make you look small. What I am trying to say is that all the boasting and posturing makes you sound insecure. It is the opposite of confidence.

Just be natural, act like working out isn 't a thing(because it isn't) be smooth. To be smooth is to be relaxed and chilled about shit. NOT broadcasting what you are. If all you can talk about is working out that is also bad, seriously, go watch bliss and don juan demarco

ESP bliss, it may help you.

PS.I am no mocking you here.

Gains towards what? being a hunk of oversized meat? or gains towards becoming a male underwear model?

if you did it, you would understand how fun it is. My personality has grown into it over time. other people have lots of fun with it... classmates call me superpump 1000

y'guys need to see the difference between having fun with the alpha image and being an insecure douche. It can be a lot of fun. It's fun to act like a stupid ape if you do it in good humor

If your bench is 300 yeah he makes you look small. He has been at this for much much longer etc.

Anyway I have tried to convey some thoughts and ideas. I am not sure if I am wasting time on you, so good luck with all that.

The three years you spended in a gym, i trained my Broca-areal and my Wernicke-center, now all the people look at me on the board. Not because they are disgusted, but in normal life you dont hear such lingual meltdown (Stripper get lots of girlz btw) and programers talking in formal languages are happy to see this art-catastrophy happening in another head far away. :D

Join the chickendales. Or a swingerclub. Or just join a girl site, just google for flowers and nice things, and follow the link, sooner or later, you can find them. Actually it is pretty hard to avoid contact with girls, beeing annoying and oversocializing as they are. Just stop struggling. Thats right, just stop counterproductive movements like the mouse moving hovering near the view-your-posts button.

STOP IT BODYBAGGER!

Is it bad that the "view new posts" and "view your posts" views are nearly identical for me?

bodybuilding is unlikely to have any effect on your ability to get laid (except be more or less attractive to different women) so I dont see what is has to do with the discussion.

What smoth is trying to say is that the fact that you act super-defensive and lock up regarding their opinion when people challenge things you say is a sign of low self-confidence.
He's not trying to insult you. He's just a little bit (okay, a big bit) blunt.

Bingo!

...Awesome guy.
Interesting thing about him was that (IIRC) his big worry was that people wouldn't look past his muscles to his personality. :o
