A big dome for the Millenium that was used as a family fun park and the opening scene of some crap James bond movie. Until everyone realised it was shit. This also cost almost 800 Million pounds to build.

Right of the top of my head that's 1.6 BILLION pounds spent on two structures that have as much use as an inflatable dartboard.

Meanwhile the National Health service is in crisis, there's homeless people everywhere, the governement wont perscribe certain drugs (that are proven to work) to breast cancer patients because they're too "expensive" at 1500 pounds per month, the government cant even provide our boys in Iraq enough body armour or ammo to go around!

There's are shortage of police because the governement "can't afford" to hire more, the country is filling up with illegal and legal immigrants who are criminals, are illiterate, and riddled with disease, there's not even an HIV test for people immigrating to england ffs.

The classic for me was when I was in my local police station getting my fingerprints taken, not because I was a naughty boy, but because I needed a police check to prove that I didnt have a criminal record to immigrate to Canada.
I saw a missing persons poster on the wall...a picture of a rough looking skinhead...Ive missed out some of the details, but you get the idea...

Sorry but...why the HELL is he here if he can't speak English and had a criminal record involving violence and is unemployed?

People from abroad can get unemployment benefits only after several years of work in UK.
So either he is UK citizen (married or something?) or he spent last years working there.

Hmm Im not sure of the particulars, thinking about it he may not have been on unemployment, it was a few years ago, maybe it was some other benefits they give to immigrants, but whatever, he shouldn't be in the country, period.
Violent past and no literacy skills.... wtf were they thinking?
Unless he concocted some refugee sob story about it being too dangerous for him to return home, the British immigration authority are pretty gullible after all.
Just to be clear, I have no problem with immigration, as long as the immigrants are of good character and can, at the VERY LEAST, grasp the English language.
I myself am almost an immigrant after all, Englands loss is Canada's gain, or... should that be the otherway round?
