I woke up with a bed like a dead sea beach and all my proteindrinks gone, now, lets presume everybody who has got a girlfriend is socially out of the pariah of the intertubes class, but if your familys are so fullfilling, and your lifes rock so hard- then why return at all here to troll? Bigger suffering of others to get your own sad destiny into the shade? Even Panda doesent seem to get along with other girls, otherwise, she wouldnt post here...
Its one of the many ironys... even girls can have social disorders, and locking themselves away from the world, can become interesting personalitys. Now, along comes the intertubes, and we are all united, one big, divided, way moar interesting family to suffer the distance.

eww... i watched a document about body builders (women and men)... and... they all were mentally 15 year old.
the impression i got from them was quite the same i get from religious people: constant denial and incapability to argue at all, they have already chosen their mind, even if you proved their "hobby" is dangerous, they wouldnt believe it; it is a jealous trick to make them unhappy! they seem to live in their own world which they dont allow others to come in, unless you agree to everything they agree. the women required constant admiration, and if you said one bad word to them, they started insta-cry and rage. then suddenly they calm down and talk normally again
also what pissed me off most in those people was that they constantly buffed their own ego by saying that everyone else loves muscular people too but they are just ashamed to admit it because the norms of society doesnt allow men to like muscular women etc...
i could even hear the bitter in their voice when they said that...
this one guy couldnt even walk normally because his muscles were so big around the legs, which caused regular pain to him, but he loved his body so much he didnt care about the downsides... he was constantly telling how proud he is from the body he has built over the years... sick.
those people are insane... they even go to competitions to win nothing else but pride.

To be fare Picasso, panda has had to move 3 times in the past 2 years(not talking a few miles but >1hour at 70+mph drive away) so our friends live pretty far away, the Internet is how we keep in touch with them. Just one of those sacrifices we are making right now. My family has little to do with answering scrot's question so I don't follow that one.
Mostly I post from my iPhone while compiling or dropping a test db at work

Oh c'mon gais you can go to the gym regularly without being a bodybuilder and you can be buff without being a bodybuilder. Being a bodybuilder does not imply that you use drugs. You can also bench 300 lbs without being a bodybuilder, more probably you are a powerlifter. A little bit of narcissism never hurt anybody. Balance is the key as with anything else.
Now if you are going to the gym as a way to reinforce your weak confidence then you are in the risk zone of two things i) being miserable ii) starting with drugs to push yourself harder. Probably OP is like this.
I also think that at 27 you have lived alone for many years and accumulated lots of strange personal habits that makes you incompatible with another human being..ergo your first relationship is gonna be a train wreck so once again I would recommend you to fuck a whore to save some girl being miserable with you.
Best way to live life is by having casual sexual encounters only and then hope for offspring from one of those. When that happens run like hell, flee to another country if you must to avoid child support. Then return in 20 years and say hello son/daughter. If you have any doubts about this just think about how few times you are gonna get to have sex after you marry a woman. It's like taking a vow to live celibate for the rest of your life cept for birthdays maybe. And women wonder why married men cheat.

Truth is that woman cheat as much as man. Relative of mine works as a landscape gardener for houses, he saw that shit nearly every day- husband leaving, kids going to school, lover drops by- i mean, its understandable, nobody can waste such long hours just for cooking a meal and cleaning a house.
On the other hand, things might be diffrent if both parties work, so this is just a desperate housewive suburb problem....

Really, it's about talking to girls and being normal person and relating to them as fellow humans. The looks are almost irrelevant for girls, and for that matter, for normal guys too because as often i see epic looking guy with not so epic looking girl as vice versa.
Getting a girlfriend is like getting a friend, except the friend is girl and you both want sex (which happens naturally). There can't be a guide for getting a friend, there can only be a guide for manipulating someone into trusting you and even that is BS and wont work.
There's also this getting an one night stand which i frankly don't know how to do except i've been hit on several times very plainly about that so i suppose i could do that if i wanted. (girls want men too)
edit: also, how I got my GF, guess what, it started with smalltalk about i don't remember what, we talked about lot of things - technical stuff, politics, etc, liked each other, etc. The agenda was not to "get a girlfriend", it was to know more about her, let her know me, and spend time nicely chatting etc.

Really, I think the worst fail that guys do is going like "omfg must get that girl" rather than "Ok lets chat and get to know eachother, maybe we have common interests and maybe it'll be nice chatting with her". I don't know if this is good advise but give it a try;
Use the backdoor from geeky to social... transfer you RTS gaming lust to a more social habit like Magic the Gathering or Board Gaming... and do so at public places like pubs or gaming stores... Also, lot's of chicks are into Manga or Anime... see if there are any clubs on campus for these types of things.
It doesn't matter how big you are, it depends on how provocative and how threatening you are. Big plays a component, but a lot of people inclined to fighting will either overlook it because they're foolhardy, or play it down because they know how little it means. Most "well-muscled men" - after all, they generally have pathetic lower bodies because they aren't building for health or all around strength and commonly revile cardio - are little more threatening than tubby men of the same height to those who have fought.
As for Spring Syndrome, it is what you allow it to be. During my period of highest Spring use I played several thousand hours, provided primary moderation for the forums, ran multiple autohosts, worked on a number of games and produced maps. At the same time I completed a degree, worked full time, carried on first one and then another relationship, and exercised for two hours a day.
