I was thinking of Transformers... Skorponok for the win. A Transformers mod would be cool and very unique :). Afaik there hasn't been a Transformers RTS so far.

always when you make a mod have of everyunit a concept thats alot easier to model, you can take everything like the thing that snipawolf taked or take lego the new technic or what thats modern or just take your own paint skillz :P :lol:

I sux at paint and online stuff, my mouses don't have stability, however I do like drawing and am fairly decent at it :p I will try to get a commander somehow :P

Well, I dunno, thanks for help everyone, but almost nobody helped except Smoth :p

Edit: It didn't take me but a day to get some textures

Anyhow I used a tutorial and :shock: LOOK AT WHAT I GOT!

I can see why not - how would you handle it? TF is all about unique characters. Would you have a few heroes and then armies of "unnamed jet transformer" and "unnamed car transformer"?

How would you handle transformation? If it was all-manual then the microing would be pure hell. Especially if you included Skorponoc - what, you want his head to come off and fight after the body dies?

All unique robots, each comes with a metal upkeep. Metal will be scarce and only used to run said TFs . So you'll end up building up a small taskforce choosing from a set pool of unique Transformers. Cars: When there's nothing to fight (e.g. aim on) after a set timeout (10 seconds?), then the Transformer transforms back into car mode. Car mode = speed burst. For cars which are unarmed so the tank bot should be manual.

o.0 It's not a zoids mod, it will have a few zoids in it, zoids resemble animals, and animals are good at what they do, so I will have a shadow fox as a medium scout, mebbe berserk fuhrer as a high class unit :p

Just a problem with it, I'm not sure about rgb channels and hierarchy....

I know what each channel does, just not how to assign em, and hierarchy, besides the word I got no info :P

I might do some more zoids, most likely a couple more....

I just thought about making the zoids mod XD that would be cool, but I wanna do this first

Edit: Damnit, Now I was thinking and I wanna do a zoids mod MORE NOW, cuz of Shields and long lasting lazers, urgghhh dang you!

Ligers are the suck! Oh and remove the tags (EZ-##) from the texture, they don't fit then.

Is anyone old-school as me enough to acctually own a zoid from when they were released in the US a while back as TechnoZOIDS? Is anyone hard core as me enough to have been in Japan and seen the Zoids Anime on TV and predict it would be the next big toy fad to hit the US?
