I vote nay.
I don't want to only have 3.33 points.
according to the rule, a the addendum to the motion must be made with nomination. The addendum is also optional, the nominee may or may not actually choose to make one.

Yeah, I was lazy. The first nomination really should have applied to both. Blame Swift! I vote aye.

I vote aye.

I vote nay because even though I'm one of 3 of the 11 people with points divisible by three <_<
It might also be weird because it would possibly also apply to NEW point totals, being a rule...

I vote Nay if I still can.

I count four Yays already. Why am I always only in this thread during voting :\

EDIT: this post is wrong, there were 3 nays and 3 yays when Sinbad voted, who broke the tie in the Nay direction.

And I count four Nays and 3 Yays... maybe I'm crazy.

I counted 3 of each, so... I vote Nay.

That rule is too unclear... it could also be refering to point totals that have been split into 3... I request that the judge posts his interpretation of the rule.

105 - A proposal is valid when: It contains at least 5 words, has fewer than 10 grammatical and spelling mistakes (all of which must be correctable by the judge) and does not conflict with existing rules. The judges' opinion as to the validity of a post is final.

If the intepretation of the judge is "all players will have their current score divided by 3", I vote yes.

Vote 309 has been rejected.

Player rankings:
lurker - 30 (proposed: rule 209) {3}
KDR-11k - -5
Peet - 10 {1}
Decimator - 10 {1}
SinbadEV - 50 (proposed: rule 211){5}
neddiedrow - 60 {6}
aegis - 70 (proposed: rule 205, rule 207, rule 210) {7}
Felix the Cat - 25(proposed: rule 206) {2}
Erom - 10 {1}
nemppu - 10 {1}
Ixoran - 20 {2}
SwiftSpear the rhymey - -100

Current list of mutable rules:
  • 201 - Every vote in which a player is on the victor's side (the vote the player issued was the same as the winning vote) that player shall receive 10 points
  • 202 - While no player has 100 points or greater the game will continue
  • 203 - The player who has been on the victor's side the highest number of times at the end of the game is the winner
  • 204 - The game will end when there is no rule requiring it's continuation
  • 205 - To win the game, a player must have originally submitted one of the current game's rules in a proposal during the current game
  • 206 - All posts by a Judge must be in hot pink, color code #FF0080
  • 207 - Proposals must contain rhyme
  • 208 - To make the game a little more fun, every voting period a poster can have a valid vote numbering only at 1
  • 209 - Swiftspear the rhymey, despite not being a player, has as of this post a score of -100 for interpreting rule 108 in a loose way so to exclude votes.
  • 210 - if a player nominates a proposal then votes against it and it fails to pass, they gain 5 additional points and the original submitter of the proposal loses 5 points. (prop: aegis)
  • 211 - When a proposal is nominated for vote, A second existing proposal of the nominating parties choosing may be included as part of the motion (such that the motion, should it be accepted, will bring two new rules or two separate addendum to a current rule or any combination thereof into play) (prop: SinbadEV)

We are back on proposal time.

With awful prose I propose:
Any player who makes a post that is not a valid proposal, a valid nomination or a vote to a vote that is still in progress loses 2 points.

AKs are red
Zippers are blue
Humans are meat
and thus full of goo.

I propose that a rule (mutable or immutable) may be transmogrified into a _new_ static rule provided doing this would not create a paradox within the static rules. In keeping with Rule 001, this is a one-way transmogrification - once made static, a rule is afforded the normal static rule protection.

Created is a post,
that we need the most.
Bookkeeper is its name,
and it keeps track of the game.

At least once each and every day,
Bookkeeper shall tell in a logical way,
What points and numbers each player has now,
And anything else that is good to know.

The first Bookkeeper is declared to be Felix the Cat,
If you want a new one, a proposal is where it's at.

===========

Explanation in plain English: It might make the game run a bit smoother and easier if we take some of the load off of SwiftSpear the rhymey. The Bookkeeper posts at least once a day an update containing each player's point total and any other numbers and statuses that are in the rules. Changing who the Bookkeeper is is done through a proposal. The initial Bookkeeper is me, Felix the Cat.

The stuff in bold is what the proposal would be without rhyme. I was under the impression that the rhyme had to be in the proposal, not just attached to it...

I know for what I pine:
All word counts shall be prime.

(The word count of any post must be a prime number)
(man, this rhyming business is getting on my nerves, especially since I don't think I pronounce the words properly so what I think rhymes won't do so for other people)
