Maybe Zeon could get the Neue Ziel for it's super unit? It would be similiar to the Apsalaus, but not totally useless. Then the Feds could get the GP02A and have nukes!

I have debated about that for some time. The problem is that Neue Ziel doesn't have a minovsky craft system, which means no atmospheric flight. Also GPO2(The A is extranious) is a bit too powerful, I am not sure if I will ever add it. If I do it would go to zeon.

Hmm, maybe you could use the Mass-Produced version of the Big Zam for a Zeon superunit:Image

According to wikipedia it has one Mega Particle Gun and two "tube missile launchers". I'm not sure what the scale is though, but its probably a tad larger than a standard MS.

I can't think of any superunits for the Feds besides the Nu Gundam or something, though. Perhaps you could make up a mobile armor or something?

Alex is about all they(federation) will get.
In the current version it's reaction speed was too slow(will be fixed in the next version. Believe me that guy can tear apart 10s or 20s of zaku2s every 2 shots.

Apsallus II is better then bigzam.

it's mega particle cannon has both the solid shot and line fire laser capability. Along with constant flight and heavy armor.

Phew, that's a relief! I was doing a 3v3 on speedmetal and I was wondering why 10 alexes lost to a bunch of flying... kampfers? I forget, the Machine gunning ms's that fly.

yeah, the alex had too slow a reaction time. In the next version when those flight types come up the alex will aim a lot faster. That was one issue. Bear in mind it is generally considered a bad idea to just go for alex.

Ooo, nice. That's the Zeon command ship, right? And I wasn't just going for NT-1's, I needed some heavy guns at the moment :wink: . Another thing, do you think we'll get any MS's with funnels? Because if we do, then you could make it so they "build" funnels like nukers make missiles. Then the funnels would be set to auto-guard the suit that built them, or something.

Yes, that is the zeon command ship.

Funnels:
Funnels do not belong to 0079-0083 gundam mechs. Only Mobile Armors, They are not used untill the end of zeta when Neo Zeon creates the Quebley. Then later in Chars Counter Attack we see funnels.

The end of Zeta gundam is beyond the scope of this mod and to include stuff from that period would so outclass level 1 units that I may aswell delete level 1 tech. Something which I will not do.

However, if I EVER dabble into zeta gundam the only force to have them would be neo zeon. Even so, that is space combat. The funnels cannot opperate in atmosphere. Sorry.

Aw, well thats okay. Never knew funnels didnt work in atmosphere, but it seems obvious now since they dont have any flight gear. Keep up the good work then!

Yeah, sorry about that. On the bright side of things, once the Zeon's new commander is in and I have tested it. I will make a new release. There are many improvements including several improved animations and even more in the way of balance.

So feel free to note anything that may feel off kilter. I will look into it.

Note:I am aware of the dodai bomber imbalance it has already been fixed.

BUMP

Anyways, I have an idea for another unit for the Feds (As per usual). Perhaps the Anahiem factory could build the Core Tank? It would be like an advanced version of the Guntank, except have a beam rifle instead of the machineguns. Also, I hope you got rid of the rectangular footprints cuz my guntanks kept getting stuck on trees that they couldnt knock down.

lolz, I am ahead of you on that one.

IF/WHEN we get unit limits th guntankrx will make it in. but it didn't have beamrifles it had missiles on it's arms and no torso turn. It was actually shittier then the guntank mass production.
