He was probably just trying to find a nice way to say that they don't look good. So please make more logos :)

Zero-K stands for zero kelvin (also writable as "0 K") which is also known as absolute zero. It was chosen because it was a broad enough scientific concept to allow for a lot of creativity in plot but specific enough to have a meaning to it. It manages to be recognizable but still be easy to remember, and isn't any trouble to pronounce. Trust me, this name choice was not just a passing whim of some dev. If you guys are really all that set against it, perhaps start a new thread for name suggestions.

I liked it when he tried to make a 32x32 icon and the text was barely legible, then the colour blind person said it was just a fuzzy splodge and there was no text.....

You cant judge a logo based purely on how well it sits as a piece of art. You have to be practical

i think i tryed to acomplish both you know if you look on the previous page youll see mutch more of my work

logos needs to be Art and praticaly simple.

Id like to see a case study composed of the basic core logo in its bare form and the various additions and modifications, a logo spec of how its meant to work would be good too

This is a logo. I think Rattle's is sufficient, though I didn't mind the small version of the original Saktoth was working with.

Remove the eclipse from rattles logo and you have the perfect logo. Its simple and its stylish, and easy to work with. Its practical and it looks good.

Well I dunno where you are pointing at, but I never thought scifi's pictures would serve as a pure logos but rather like loading screens or game concept art... which they in that sense are very pretty...
