protip draco.. that gun holder would be pulled down when the unit goes to fire.. elefant doesnt need to "deploy" to fire..

Actually I'm still not sure about how exactly that thing should behave when it's time to aim the gun. All the photos of Elefant I was able to find show it either in "transport mode" (with the support in place) or in "battle mode" (with the support removed), there aren't any that show how that removal is done. Maybe it was pulled down, there is a driver compartment right under it so there is some space for it to lower into. I hope its removal didn't require crew members going outside, that would be too dangerous for them.

Perhaps it just folds backwards or something? Or it's removed from outside but done before engaging in combat.

Again, most of the details should be done via texture.

This vehicle may have inspired TA creators to do the missile trucks.
