- What sort of language can't be used and can be used, racist terms etc
- Harassing other players
- Spamming & Flooding
- Posting links to inappropriate content
- Joining clans without permission
- Ruining the game for allies

No no, you're missing the point. I'm saying we need to discuss these to come to a conclusion about what they should be recognized by and what punishments should be given when broken.
For example, Bee's thing where some guy said "Shit" and he gave a long mute, other times, you could be racist, swear and be generally prejudice and get away with it. (Sefidel).

sefidel is getting away with it just coz he is harrassing ppl in battle room not main, ppl just dont care and they dont want to w8 for game to start while w8n for sefidel kickvote to pass... in my opinion rest of above points are covered and mods are doing good job... dunno how is it possible but there is always some mod online and i can ruin any game :<

You really have never seen Sefidel calling everything that moves a "ni**er" in #main before? I could just paste my #main log from December 07 and you could just search for the word and then you'd probably see Sefidel accounting for every one.

im almost sure he got muted later, if not, yes it can be example of 'getting away with it'... and yes i have never seen him doing that on main.
also someone considered making bot like 'evilbot' which will automute flamers ?
btw. i still think mods are doing good job with muting, but they cant be all the time online and watching main 24/7

arf time zones are bad way to choose mods... like knob coz he is from australia :D mods should be selected step by step, slowly and by players...

Oh noes end of the world...
I personally think that knowledge about reported ( or anything else) players is obligatory, tho actual mods are not playing much ( mainly ca and xta while most players got ba).
still, mod group is doing fine so i wouldnt take care of it much (yes yes, dont mind saying i lick their asseses bla bla bla)

what happens now, are we supposed to wait for swiftspear to say "ok guis chose some moderators while i write some rules" or something like that? i think whats inevitably going to happen is this thread will eventually die and the moderating system will always suck

even if the entire community votes to enlist a moderator, it will only happen if the admins feel it should.

Of course I do it now, I never used to do it because I thought it was lame and that it ruined games. Now I know that it's "A tactic" and that it's "Generally accepted" I know that it's ok. I'd still love for it to go, but if it's there and it lets me win games, I'm going to do it.

Moderator time zones are quite diverse. But I think we do have a gap in aus/asia we just haven't been able to fully address.

i dunno who chose these moderators we have atm but they suck it seems like no matter who u post a problem to u dont get a reply till an hour+ later if ever, and they just dont care half the time. i think the person chosing the moderators is going for all the normal ppl with real lives which are the kind of ppl who are always inactive cos they are busy with their kids or whatever it is normal ppl do. if i was moderator ontheotherhand id be active always! 12 hours a day! and i am perfectly trustable too and my great reputation will mean that everyone will come to me with their problems. i am the perfect moderator.

Yeh, I agree about afk staff. PM'd 4 mods a week ago about some guy who who trolling a load of games and it took about 6 hours till I got a reply from Neddie or one of them.
Seriously, do something.
Tbh yeh, I'm a sad little bastard so I'd be active every minute I'm awake. You'd get an instant response.
