For arm, it actually makes sense, because they are Human pilots.
Core on the other hand, should be doing some bleepety boop fizz fart boom!

There's a human mind in there. The voice is just synthesized. As such, I think a human voice that's gone through some filters to sound robotic would be most appropriate. Think Transformers.
