you can't predict whats going to happen when you play a game. if its a phone call, i find it fair to pause. i only do it if its an important call, try talking and paying attention to what the person says and playing the game. its very difficult to concentrate.Cheesecan wrote:Even worse is people who pause the game because they have some trivial thing they need to do, like talk on the phone.
I never pause when I have to leave to computer for a moment, and I think it's both rude and disrespectful to other players to do so.
One shouldn't be playing a game if one doesn't have the next 2 hours completely free. People who join a game just to a few minutes later abruptly say that they have to go because this and that are douchebags.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I hate people who ruin the game for others, intentionally or not because of something that 99% of the time could be avoided, like calling the person back or not joining a game unless they have time, period.
getting a drink is fine but you can usually walk away for a min or two and not have to worry if its not an intense battle. smoking can wait until the game ends imo though.
now this is something that i hate. if someone pulls a tactic and i know i'm dead, ill say GG but ill keep playing until they finish me off. it's always fun to see what kind of tactic he'll pull off and to see how long i can hold him off before i loseCheesecan wrote:Something that disturbs me is people quit when you pull a tactic they didn't see coming. Often they will just shout "gg" and resign even though they would have had a fighting chance. This especially goes for those like unpossible said, see losing units as a loss in itself.
