We're open to ideas for a revamped logo, this one looks so 2006. Or just use the same thing but update it to 2016 look?

no for real: we need to put the most significant XTA unit/building on it. I would prefer a combination of heavy fus and advanced converters, although this is quite distributed in BA or techa nowadays
or sth with addtionally added heavy weaponry

FWIW, I think it would be better without the gradient, and the thick stroke.
More pastel colors would probably make it prettier too.

That's very nice and creative, but it doesn't have any relation to spring, for instance the red spring triangles as in the spring logo.
I don't have the source, knorke has it.
These suggestions for xta-logo would work very well if it were a more serious software company, I kind of like the look of it. But it doesn't look so much as a game logo. But that's the thing with logos, that they are very subjective. Or maybe it looks like a logo for a publishing company, or something serious like this :)

Personally I think its very cool, it would save alot of space for good screenshots on loading screens as its one letter in spacing roughly.
However English is often read from top to bottom, which makes it look as if its saying TXA. Otherwise I'd have no problem using this as ingame mini logo for certain menus that Jools programmed since it can be squared and compacted. Maybe if the X was darker color with TA appearing brighter and more dominant while being covered by the X would work, but I'm no logo maker.

I also think the logo is very nice, but it was better without the spring triangles. Now it somehow makes me associate it to Japan and the rising sun etc. I know, I'm complicated for first wanting the triangles there and then not, but I'm just writing how the logo feels. It is a very nice logo ... but something is missing and I don't really know what.
