Autoposting to twitter and facebook is now working correctly. Manual intervention is no longer necessary and all linked articles appear on the twitter and facebook feed

Springinfo will be down for the rest of today, possibly tomorrow, the DNS expired and I'm unable to renew because of Dreamhost Panel nonsense, Black Liger is also unable to give me the necessary access because he's in work, and wont be at a machine until this evening.

Because you don't just post videos on spring, you post irrelevant stuff, and the automated system auto-posts the non-spring stuff.

Since you won't create an account and approve the relevant videos and delete the irrelevant ones yourself, I have to do it, so your posts are all marked as pending review. This ofc assumes I log in to check and approve things, which admittedly isn't that often, hence why they sometimes take quite a while to show.

The same is true of Picassos Journeywar videos

I pull in videos via RSS feeds, the RSS feed I use gives me all your videos, I can't limit it to particular playlists. If you know how to do this do share as it would be incredibly convenient to know!

Iirc I believe it's possible, but google has an irritating habit of burying rss feed links.

Edit:

Ok figured out how. it's easy, but obscured as all fuck.

For example, here is an rss feed of my Evo Casts playlist: http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/play ... kk9ocCYvyD

How you do it is:
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/playlists/ << this is the base link

Now, jsut go to the playlist url, and look at the playlist ID. It will start with PL. Copy and paste the alpha-numeric string that comes after the letters PL into the base url. Viola, playlist rss feed.

Like I said, obscure as all fuck.

As an example, this is the rss feed for knorke's spring tanks playlist: http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/play ... 7CEB05C31E

Think it is still not quite right: New files on springfiles seem to work but the videos are all reposts from months ago.

Things aren't quite right because nothing has changed. All I'e done is update WordPress and some plugins.

There was a reason I automated as much as I could and encouraged people to register and set up their own stuff

As it stands people just hurl an incomplete request at me, across several posts, referencing various links and items in threads linked to. Very easy to track and manage when you rarely drop in on the site.

e.g. I'm sure you have more videos than I can find on your spring and zeroK playlists, ( e.g. )and when I tried to add them I got befuddled because I was hunting through my tabs for a ZeroK playlist on your account and did not find one. Then I saw spiderman presents, but then is that a whimsical name for tales of interest? Or is it ZeroK? Or are tales of interest the only ZK videos?

Rather than answer these questions I started work on client work that paid actual cash and more productive research.

There is nothing whimsical about spiderman, the true actual all-american superhero.
I'm sure you have more videos than I can find on your spring and zeroK playlists
Funny you ask: Just yesterday I uploaded a new video of the best racing team in the world, this time about the marvelous adventures at the Racing Minds 16h event!

If you mean other spring videos, only the ones in playlist matter.
I think that was the idea behind having playlists?
The others are either way old (the one you linked is 2 years old) or not interessting. (like videos of bug for bugtracker etc)
I was hunting through my tabs for a ZeroK playlist on your account and did not find one.
But why?
The links to the two playlists are here since a year:

As the blue commander is pointing out, it is annoying if the frontpage gets swamped by tons of old news. For example now again, and many links do not even work anymore.
