sounds like you partially downloaded a file in firefox. IIRC that browser does a .part file. I could be wrong. Anyone else have an idea?

Yep, that's only a partially downloaded file from firefox. Chrome does .crdownload. IE Hides them in temp files. Not sure how Safari or Opera does partially dl'd files.

You don't HAVE to dl anything for evo if you don't want to.

In FF, just go to http://www.weblobby.evolutionrts.info

Spoiler alert, if you dl the desura build of evo, it downloads a tiny file that does nothing but send you to the above address in your default browser. Same for linux as well.

The weblobby evo link has all the little customizations for evo in the url. You can of course disable the filters and stuff and see all the other spring games and junk. Also, it's straight up weblobby so it will play nice with your existing weblobby/springlobby/zkl/etc setup.

Opera just downloads the file. Thats what i like(d*), you can download avi and play it wth VLC in one moment. You can do that with some other brwsers too and play part files but it makes trouble.

* - New Opera 15 will be chromium based :(

Playing part/crdownload files (of video files) will never have issues unless you are not downloading fast enough so vlc reaches the end of the file and stops playback.
