Am I crazy? I remember dots in Spring

I played Spring a while back, probably a year or two ago, and I remember there being dots when you zoomed out. I don't mean radar dots, I mean dots SupCom style that made your units easier to spot when zoomed way out.

Was this taken out, or do I just have horrible memory?

in springsettings.exe there is an option "unit icon distance"

I tried that, and eventually figured out the changes did not take place til I ran springsettings.exe as administrator. Fix'd.

Precisely. I figured when I mentioned running as admin, that would be implied enough.

Oops. I did that, but running as admin worked fine.

Well, running as admin would work fine, but take a wild guess why putting a portable install in program files is a bad idea.

It didn't replace Robocracy as default theme because Robocracy is more consistent with website and lobby, with the teal and angular edges and all.

Changing through the menu works pretty well except that you need to manually enter "/luaui reload" after pressing the button because widgets aren't allowed to do it for you. Which sucks, but there are probably good reasons for it.
