well marriage itself is pretty unnatural, most animals fuck and leave the parenting to the mother, while some mothers even after birth are like, cya. so i dont see how any arguing about what is natural will help marriage at all.

I don't get all this natural or not issue.
Is it natural for spiders to breastfeed if dogs do it??
How can you say if something is natural for one species if it is for another?
There is no natural there is common/accepted.
There are exceptions in the world of animals as well.
Individuals that don't behave exactly like everyone else.
They either make it nor they don't.
If a group accepts few individuals that behave differently than that behavior is "natural" for that group.
Being gay in human society is "natural" from the moment it is tolerated.
If parts of a group behave in a certain way and are still part of it than that behavior is natural for that group.

The moment gay became legal and was not punished either by law or by a huge peer pressure to change it,it became natural in human society/country/state.
