I have the latest spring version (79.1) and i have only downloaded Ta balanced mod and some maps for it.
I would be really grateful if someone could hemp me out with this, i haven't been able to play a single game yet

That sounds very wrong. There should be no gamedata in maps, no maps in gamedata, no maps named gamedata, no maps with a gamedata inside, or any other mix of maps and gamedata.aranud wrote:i've looked for the map gamedata/ in thz spring map and on my pc and it was nowhere to be found.

For me (vista 32 + UAC), executing SpringLobby as Administrator (right click on shortcut, select "run as administrator") is a workaround until a proper fix is implemented.brianw76 wrote:Has there been any progress on fixing this bug? We are waiting patiently... For reference, it started as an issue w/ .79.0.1 release and has not been fixed w/ subsequent releases.
Spring has been uninstalled, purged & reinstalled...Issue w/ multiple mods, single/multiplayer games
Thanks! Very much appreciate the quick workaround response. Worked in single player.Pxtl wrote:For me (vista 32 + UAC), executing SpringLobby as Administrator (right click on shortcut, select "run as administrator") is a workaround until a proper fix is implemented.brianw76 wrote:Has there been any progress on fixing this bug? You downloaded the modfiles as non-admin. They're stored in a different location from admin, so admin mode can't find them.coldworld wrote:
