What do you guys think?
I think it could quickly degenerate into flamewar and name calling and would brew hatred and nationalism and all that kind of nasty stuff. I mean, someone for one country will throw some insulting clich├â┬® at someone from another country, just for fun, as a taunt before the game, and then the other would retaliate in an even less friendly way, and it'll escalate, and etc...
A little squabble between countries is always fun...as long as you keep the squabel civil there absolutely no reason fot it not to just fuel the competition fever....

If I as a Sweede tel a finn that his country is just an old sweedish protectorate.... or a finn tells me that Sweeds are just a bunch of more or less gay guys to afraid to use a sauna is just fun =)

The Swedish Yankspankers don't make up a large portion of the community. Plus seeing SJ's message there apparently are very good fins that play TA, so I don't think this is all related to the SY clan.

I can confirm that. I've seen it a few times, mostly with mates of my PT clan writing ocasinal remarks about nationality that, sometimes degenerate into not so pretty verbal fights, other times create resentment, other times go undamaging..
