The firing mechanism will be animated, of course, and I was thinking about mechanisms for turning the bottom.
But a gear could be pretty difficult to handle, didn't Argh got some trouble with a similar problem ?
For the texturing, I'll use 3do for now, I could spend days and days UVmapping this, and many more days texturing...I prefer go on scripting, and if someone want to texture this
Due to the size of this unit, and probably the cost (I don't have any plan to use it in a mod, this is just for fun. So if someone want it for his mod, no problem), there won't have many things like that on the map.

That huge superweapongunthingy is actually kinda neat... and as long as those blades on the edges of the barrels don't have too many 3D greebles on them they shouldn't take up too many polies.
As far as the turning mechanism, it looks almost rail gun-ish. It might be maglev, running on that reasoning, seeing as it isn't exactly modern tech.
Me likes random bladey thingies on barrels. Makes it moar poaintaih.
